The Dale Carnegie organisation will help members of Nationwide Jewellers buying group increase their sales in 2015 and beyond. Nationwide managing director Colin Pocklington said the buying group has engaged the New York-based Dale Carnegie organisation to create a sales training program for its members.

The program will be presented at the Nationwide conference in Auckland in March where members will be briefed on the content and shown how to deliver the course in-store to their staff.

The course, titled ‘Coach Your Team to Deliver Professional Sales Solutions’ consists of five modules:
1.    Understand and apply a proven selling process to create partnerships
2.    Learn how to make buyers eager to talk with you
3.    Establish immediate credibility to build alignment with buyers
4.    The new sales cycle
5.    How to set yourself apart from your competitors

“We have now finalised our conference program for March” said Pocklington. “As well as the Dale Carnegie course, our other keynote speaker is Crystal Vilkaitis from the USA, an expert on social media strategy for retailers.”

Founded in 1912, Dale Carnegie Training operates in 80 countries and has trained eight million people worldwide – including 428 of the Fortune 500 corporations.
