Australian Jewellery Road Show exhibitors Heidi Plentinger-Iveson, Colin Berger, Toni McDonald and Arthur Pike. The third annual Australian Jewellery Road Show has been hailed a success by organisers – and is destined to become even bigger next year with the addition of two new exhibitors, Cudworth Enterprises and Duraflex Group Australia.

The Road Show, which travelled to Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth in  October, saw an increase in visitor numbers and sales.
The idea for the Road Show was conceived in 2011 to provide better buying and selling opportunities for wholesalers and retailers, as well as allay safety concerns for lone jewellery sales representatives travelling to conduct business.

The exhibitors at this year’s Show were AM Imports, Bianc, Cashelle Fine Jewellery, Devino Pearls, Ellani Collections, Facets Australia, Golden Mile, Hayon Jewellery, Ikecho Pearls, Imagpak, Ironclay Jewellery, Joris Gemstones, Lester Brand, Mark McAskill Jewellery, Mark Milton Fine JewelleryOblo Jewellery, Palloys Group, Paul Shadiac Imports, Peter W Beck, Primassure, RJ Scanlan & CoSams Group Australia, Ronnie Shabtay Fine Jewellery, Select Diamonds, Sherman Opals, Storch & Co and Worth & Douglas. Ronnie Shabtay Finer Jewellery owner Ronnie Shabtay said he was looking forward to building on the Road Show’s success.

“I would like to thank all the wholesalers and retailers for their support and look forward to doing it all again next year,” he said.

Cashelle Fine Jewellery owner Arthur Pike said the show was a success for him and the other exhibitors.

“Sales were substantially up against the 2013 show and while there were some quiet moments most members were busy in each city,” he said. “In addition the camaraderie shown at the meetings between members and suppliers was truly wonderful.”

“The visitors were able to make their purchases in a relaxed and secure atmosphere, and everyone enjoyed the Road Show hospitality.

“Most visitors commented that this was a great way to buy their stock and that they would be back next year.”
