PANDORA Jewelry is pleased to announce the appointment of Mikael Kruse Jensen as Managing Director of PANDORA Australia & New Zealand.
Currently Vice President of Finance in PANDORA APAC, Mikael has been with the business for nearly 7 years, holding senior positions in PANDORA Group’s HQ in Copenhagen, Denmark, and in regional HQ in APAC, covering 16 markets.

Kenneth Madsen, President of PANDORA Asia Pacific said: “Mikael Kruse Jensen has been instrumental in building up the APAC business to what it represents today. He has a keen commercial sense, and I’m confident this skill set will align perfectly with the team in Australia & New Zealand.”
As of 1 March 2017, Mikael will replace Brien Winther, who will become the Managing Director of PANDORA British Isles (EMEA Region).

“Brien has done an outstanding job in significantly developing our business in Australia and New Zealand and we congratulate him on the appointment. We are thrilled he is now in a position to share best practice globally,” said Kenneth.

“We are delighted to have highly skilled leaders in a global organisation like PANDORA; leaders who are mobile and willing to change location and take up new challenges in our growing business, demonstrating the level of talent we have internally. We welcome and look forward to using the breadth and depth of Mikael’s international experience in Australia & New Zealand,” he said.

Mikael said: “I am honoured to be joining the PANDORA team in Australia & New Zealand and build on the incredible success the business has achieved. We have a very strong Management Team in Australia and New Zealand and my focus will be to support and empower them to continue to strengthen the brand and put our consumers first.”

Mikael joined PANDORA in 2010, just before the business went public (IPO). For the last 5 years he has been based in Hong Kong, setting up PANDORA offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo and Singapore.
