The Jewellers Association of Australia (JAA) is pleased to announce Showcase Jewellers buying group will exclusively support the 2017 JAA Jewellery Tradeshow.

The Showcase Jewellers group, established in 1981, is a dynamic organisation and boasts a fantastic group of independent jewellers as members who enjoy great buying power, a strong focus on diamonds, fine jewellery and enjoy a large number of resources and access to an extensive Showcase Jewellers’ supplier base. All Showcase Jewellers stores are independently owned and operated. The JAA is proud that the buying group will back the inaugural industry run event and that they have made an unreserved and prompt announcement to assist their members and suppliers who are looking to the buying groups to show their support so they can confidently make their own 2017 tradeshow participation decisions.

Showcase Jewellers’ General Manager, Carson Webb, said “our resources will be utilised for the JAA and our industry body 100%. I cannot understand why it would even be in question, that is what we should do” and states “so while the JAA is here and prepared to look after suppliers and retailers, then so will we, together we are stronger.”

Amanda Hunter, JAA Executive Director, expresses appreciation for Showcase Jewellers’ support in saying “It is great to see Showcase Jewellers acknowledging the importance of the JAA to the industry at large and taking the lead in this decision, in addition to engaging in ideas for us to make this an amazingly successful event for all those that will be involved.”

The JAA will be working with Showcase Jewellers to maximise the attendance value of the Showcase Jewellers’ membership at the event and to enable a great buying experience for them and also to leverage this opportunity for associated events and training. Showcase Jewellers’ exhibiting suppliers will add depth to what is shaping up to be a great drawcard event for all retail visitors.

The JAA Jewellery Tradeshow will be held 26-28 August 2017 in the Royal Hall of Industries and Hordern Pavilion within the Moore Park Precinct, which is located close to the vibrant Sydney CBD.
